In addition to the standard force calculation (with and without Roche lobe avoidance, as described [here->http://fargo.in2p3.fr/spip.php?article28]), which produces the torque output files tqwki.dat (i is the planet number), the
function ComputeForce
(in Force.c) also calculates the force with a tapering of a fraction of the Roche lobe . In this beta-version of FARGO-ADSG, the tapering is applied on
, with
. This yields the torque files
tqwki_j.dat
(with i the planet number) whose columns contain:
1. the current output number
2. the torque exerted by the inner disk onto the planet, with the above tapering
3. the torque exerted by the outer disk onto the planet, with the above tapering
4. the power of the force exerted by the inner disk force (with the above tapering) onto the planet.
5. the power of the force exerted by the outer disk force (with the above tapering) onto the planet.
6. the date
Note that the files tqwki.dat
and tqwki_0.dat
are not strictly identical since they do not have the same number of columns. However, the torque columns of both files are identical.
